Nokia Microwave Technician (9500 MPR Waivence Certified)

We are seeking a skilled and certified Nokia Microwave Technician with expertise in the 9500 MPR Waivence Microwave Radio platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Nokia microwave networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and integrate Nokia 9500 MPR Waivence microwave radio systems.
• Perform site surveys, link alignment, and antenna installation.
• Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and fault resolution for microwave networks.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality network solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and field teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• Certification on Nokia 9500 MPR Waivence Microwave Radio is mandatory.
• Proven experience in microwave radio installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of microwave transmission principles and network protocols.
• Proficiency in using relevant tools and test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, power meters).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in challenging environments.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other Nokia microwave platforms (e.g., 7705 SAR, 7250 IXR).
• Familiarity with IP/MPLS networks and SDH/PDH technologies.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
