9500 Microwave Nokia Radio Certified Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified 9500 MW Nokia Radio Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Nokia’s 9500 MW (Microwave) radio systems. This is a technical role requiring expertise in Nokia microwave technology, radio transmission, and networking. The ideal candidate will be certified in Nokia’s 9500 MW radio equipment, have hands-on experience in the telecom industry, and demonstrate a strong understanding of wireless communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Configuration: Install and configure Nokia 9500 MW radio equipment, ensuring that all hardware and software is correctly set up according to project specifications.
• Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Nokia 9500 MW microwave radios, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
• Network Integration: Integrate microwave radio equipment into existing network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and communication.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support for both internal teams and external customers, assisting with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of Nokia radio systems.
• System Testing & Optimization: Conduct field testing and system performance evaluations. Analyze results and make recommendations to optimize the performance of microwave links and related equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of installations, configurations, maintenance activities, and repairs. Provide clear documentation and reporting on system status, configurations, and any issues.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identify and resolve faults or issues in Nokia 9500 MW microwave radio systems using specialized tools and methods. Perform diagnostics to ensure proper system functionality.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and industry standards while working with microwave radio equipment. Ensure that all work complies with Nokia’s specifications and guidelines.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Assist in training junior technicians and team members on the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of the Nokia 9500 MW radio systems. Share knowledge to improve team efficiency and expertise.

Qualifications:

• Certifications: Current Nokia 9500 MW Radio certification is a must.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of microwave radio systems, specifically Nokia 9500 MW equipment.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Nokia microwave systems, radio transmission principles, wireless communication, and networking protocols.
• Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with IP networking, routing, and data transmission principles in relation to microwave radio systems.
• Troubleshooting: Proficient in diagnosing and solving technical issues with microwave radio equipment, utilizing test equipment and software tools.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear technical support to customers and teams.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights for tower or rooftop installations, travel to remote locations, and lift heavy equipment when necessary.
• Education: Technical diploma, degree, or equivalent experience in telecommunications, electronics, or a related field.
