Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Central Office Equipment Installer to install, upgrade, and maintain telecommunications equipment in central offices, data centers, and network hubs. The ideal candidate has experience with DC power systems, fiber/copper cabling, and rack-and-stack installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure telecom equipment including routers, switches, servers, and power systems.
  • Perform fiber and copper cable routing, termination, and testing.
  • Follow installation specifications, schematics, and industry standards.
  • Complete site audits, documentation, and closeout packages.
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience installing central office or telecom equipment.
  • Familiarity with DC power systems, cabling standards, and telecom hardware.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
