Director of Wireless Construction

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Wireless Construction to lead all aspects of wireless infrastructure deployment. This leadership role is responsible for managing construction operations, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met, and driving collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of wireless construction projects (e.g., towers, small cells, DAS, rooftop installations).
• Work closely with the customer interfacing teams to address and resolve any service-related issues.
• Lead and manage construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource planning.
• Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
• Negotiate with suppliers and business partners to obtain the best terms and prices where applicable.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, real estate, and operations teams.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize construction workflows and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in wireless infrastructure or telecom construction, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record managing large-scale wireless construction projects.
• Strong understanding of wireless technologies, equipment and construction best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Work Environment:

• This position will require occasional travel to various field sites.
• The role involves working both in an office environment and in the field, overseeing operational activities.

Reporting:

Reports to the Vice President of Wireless and Engineering.
