Microwave Engineer/CX Manager

Butler America is searching for a skilled Microwave Engineer/CX Manager. The position requires engineering and managing the installation of Nokia, Aviat, Dragonwave, Ceragon, and most brands of Microwave systems for cell carriers within the southern CA markets.

Applicant will be responsible for assisting with engineering and analysis of new and existing MW designs along with managing various contractors on the installation of approved MW designs.

Duties:

• Assist in microwave design
• Read, interpret and understand LOS reports
• Read, interpret, and apply PCN guidelines
• Attend and participate in DRM till MW design is 100%
• Conduct feasibility site walks
• Conduct GC bid walks
• Support MW team with BOM creation and material management.
• Support MW team with CX schedule and daily reporting.
• Manage GC’s on all aspects of MW installation
• Perform site inspections to ensure crews are performing duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company, customer and OSHA standards.
• Collect all required pictures and documents to complete the final COP. Review, approve and upload COP documents into client portal
• Attend internal and customer project meetings.
• Provide guidance, best practices and lessons learned to the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years MW Engineering with references
• Minimum of 2+ years Managing or installing MW systems with references
• RFE exposure trained and RF monitor experience in the field
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components
• Ability to read and understand telecom designs, RFDS, PCN’s and CAD drawings
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Valid CA driver’s license with a Non-negligent driving record
• Be able to work late and on weekends when required
• Satisfactory results from a background check

Pay Rate:
Between: $70,000-$90,000 / Yearly
Final pay rate based on experience and amount of training required
